What we do
Each job is quoted on acreage, location and field condition. Book two or more passes together and they are scheduled as one visit.
Ploughing
Rate on request
The first pass on a field. Cuts and turns the soil to open up ground that has hardened, burying crop residue and weeds so they break down before planting.
Best for: Land coming out of fallow, fields going into a new season, and heavy or compacted soils that a harrow alone will not open.
- Working depth and the number of passes depend on soil type and how long the land has been left — both are confirmed on site before work starts.
- Best done when there is enough moisture in the ground to cut cleanly; ploughing bone-dry soil brings up clods that cost you an extra pass later.
- Leave two to three weeks between ploughing and planting where you can, so buried residue has time to rot down.
Rotavation & harrowing
Rate on request
The finishing pass. Breaks the clods left by ploughing into a fine, level seedbed and mixes in manure or fertiliser evenly through the top layer.
Best for: Any crop planted from small seed — where germination depends on a fine tilth and consistent seed-to-soil contact.
- Usually follows ploughing, but a single rotavation pass can be enough on land that was worked last season and has stayed clean.
- This is the pass that decides your germination rate. A rough seedbed shows up as gaps in the field six weeks later.
- Manure or basal fertiliser spread before this pass gets incorporated properly rather than sitting on the surface.
Potato planting
Rate on request
Ridging, seed placement and fertiliser application in a single pass, at consistent spacing and depth across the whole field.
Best for: Potato growers planting at any scale where hand-planting has become the bottleneck, or where uneven spacing has cost yield before.
- Consistent depth and spacing is the point: hand-planted fields vary, and the variation shows in tuber size at harvest.
- Seed potato and fertiliser are supplied by you unless agreed otherwise — talk to us if you would rather we source the seed.
- Ridge spacing is set to your variety and planned harvesting method before the first row goes in.
Harvesting
Rate on request
Mechanised harvesting to bring the crop in quickly once it is ready, cutting the losses that come from a harvest stretched over weeks.
Best for: Growers whose acreage has outgrown hand harvesting, and anyone racing weather at the end of the season.
- Timing is everything — book ahead of the window rather than inside it, because everyone in your area needs the machine the same fortnight.
- Field condition at harvest affects what can be run and how fast; we confirm this with you before the date.
- Ask about transport at the same time if the crop needs to move straight to a store or buyer.
Transport
Rate on request
Moving inputs to the farm and produce off it — fertiliser, seed, harvested grain, and equipment between sites.
Best for: Farmers without their own haulage, and anyone moving a harvest to a store, miller or buyer.
- Priced per trip against distance and load — tell us the route and the tonnage and we will quote it.
- Often worth combining with a harvesting booking so the crop moves the same day it comes off the field.
Where we work
We work across Kenya. Moving machinery has a real cost, so for jobs far from our base we quote mobilisation with the rate — and it is usually worth grouping neighbouring farms into one booking to share it.

Tell us the job
Message or call with your location, the acreage, the service you need and roughly when. Those four things are enough for us to quote.
We confirm the rate
You get a price for the work and, where distance makes it necessary, for getting the machine to you. No surprises added later.
We agree a date
Slots are held in the order they are confirmed. In peak season the calendar fills quickly, so book earlier than feels necessary.
The operator arrives
You get a call before we set off. Someone from the farm should be on site to walk the field boundaries with the operator.
